1 Peter 5:8 states, “Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” (NIV) Oftentimes, the devil makes some loud “roars” before retreating in an attempt to intimidate us.  He wants to see if we are serious about God’s purposes or not.  It is God’s purpose for us to walk in what God has anointed us to do.  So even when the enemy retreats, he is re-organizing for another attack.  This is the hour of militancy people of God.  The Kingdom of God is at hand!  We serve the Lord of Hosts or Armies and are called to “enforce” His victory in the earth.

Don’t Be Scared….Walk in Your Anointing!

Don't Miss

Whatever your sphere of influence may be, I want you to decree Luke 4:18-19, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

The New Living Translation reads, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has appointed me to preach Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the downtrodden will be freed from their oppressors, and that the time of the Lord’s favor has come.” (Luke 4:18-19)

The specific promises God has spoken to your heart will come to pass as it’s uniquely expressed through the fore-mentioned scripture.  Luke 4:18-19 needs to be expressed in government and politics, law enforcement, education, entertainment and the arts, business management, social services, etc.  What is your sphere of influence?  Where are you naturally gifted?  What are you passionate about?  Where do your gifts and passions intersect?

This is the position where your effectiveness will be maximized but understand what you are anointed to do (Luke 4:18-19).  Be determined in your heart to possess that position of authority.  Please note that administrative assistants have authority, so don’t get stuck on money or power.  Your focus must be obtaining the place God has specifically crafted for you.

I leave you with Romans 4:20, “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God” (KJV)

Remain steadfast… Be Strong… Give Him glory
