I go looking for him and he’s cussing up a storm and generally being a 12 year old boy…jumping around being a pain and so on. I told him I was going to call his mother if he didn’t knock it off…..He had plenty to say about it….none of it below a PG-13 rating. His phone rang. The instant it started ringing his character stopped jumping and cussing. Then he logged off.
After a week he was back online and much better behaved. He has told EVERYONE that warcraft has spies that call your house.

grin  Sorry, this one made me grin.  Poor kid… and you’re not going to let him off the hook until
he’s 30!  grin  Actually that’s a good plan because if he’d know *now* he’d just disappear from that
site and then no one would be watching over him, so it was a good choice.

It has been said that the best way to replace a bad habit is with a better one…we’ve uncovered quite a few Matt Maher and other spiritually uplifting music videos on YouTube and we try to point our church youth toward those sites.

There are some good (read: “clean”) videos on YouTube and it’s not the den of sin that many would
make it out to be.  Sure you can *find* that stuff if you look for it… but there’s other stuff, too.  I recently
pulled up language courses and it makes a difference hearing native speakers teach a language than
trying to learn it from a book.
