Poster25, your post reminded me that three times in my working life I have worked with someone who was terminally ill. I found that very difficult both in terms of looking out for them and about knowing what to say.

I had no idea the first time I answered this that I’d actually be facing it in a few days.  :-(
What I said to my cousin at the viewing of my aunt is that I know nothing I say would make
a difference.  It seemed to be a good thing to say under the circumstances.
